Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose dental conditions and provide appropriate treatment to patients, including:

  • Regular cleanings
  • Root canals
  • Composite & GIC fillings
  • Crown preparations
  • Cap fixations
  • Deep scaling
  • Surgical extractions
  • Impactions
  • Implants
  • Cosmetic dentistry procedures

Educate patients (and parents of younger patients) about proper oral hygiene and preventive care.

Communicate effectively with dental staff regarding treatment plans, procedures, and patient progress.

Prescribe necessary medications when required.

Maintain accurate documentation of medications, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations.

Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping, clinical, technical, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Requirements

  • BDS / MDS degree from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
  • Strong diagnostic skills and hands-on experience with dental procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient-handling skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, professional environment

Dental Assistant – Full Time

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years
Qualification Required: B.Sc Nursing / ANM / GNM

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Dentist during procedures
  • Prepare treatment room and sterilise instruments
  • Provide patients with excellent care and education
Taking Impressions:
  • Assist in taking dental impressions for various purposes.
  • Pour and trim models from impressions accurately.
Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and X-ray images.
  • Update patient charts and input data into the practice management system.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as instructed by the dentist.
Equipment Maintenance:
  • Clean and maintain dental equipment and instruments.
  • Arrange for equipment repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Monitor inventory of dental supplies and request restocking.
Educating Patients:
  • Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-treatment care.
  • Explain dental procedures and treatment plans to patients.
